2. Neuroprotection:
In tests examining the relationship between Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Disodium Salt Powder and stroke and spinal cord injury, it was found that PQQ reduced neuronal cell death while effectively promoting functional recovery after spinal cord hemisection injury in rats. pQQ significantly reversed the decrease in Bax/Bcl-2 values caused by β-amyloid aggregation and inhibited caspase-3 cleavage. pQQ inhibited amyloid formation and inhibited PQQ inhibited the cytotoxicity of truncated α-synuclein and protected neuronal cells from the toxicity of β-amyloid aggregation.
