The combination of burdock sapogenins and 2DG may represent a promising new cancer therapy.

4.3.The use of burdock sapogenins in the formulation of drugs for the prevention or treatment of diseases associated with hemocytopenia, and preparations containing burdock sapogenins, especially microemulsions containing burdock sapogenins. Experiments have shown that burdock sapogenins significantly increase the white blood cell count, especially neutrophil count, after chemotherapy.
